Full Description
Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly organised and friendly Administrator to join our team at Herts Ability. You’ll play a key role in helping people access our driving assessment and support services by managing bookings, responding to enquiries, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a fast-paced role with multiple enquiries coming in at once, so we’re looking for someone who can stay calm under pressure, multitask confidently, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Responding to enquiries via phone, email, and live chat
- Booking driving assessments, lessons, and appointments
- Liaising with clients, the DVLA, and healthcare professionals
- Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing reports and organising data for internal use
- Supporting local events and helping raise awareness of our services
What We're Looking For
- Strong administrative experience
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Great organisational skills and attention to detail
- Patience and empathy – many of our clients have medical conditions or disabilities
- Confident using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other bespoke software systems
Bonus if you have:
- Experience in a healthcare, charity, or public service setting
- An understanding of the needs of disabled or vulnerable people
- A full UK driving licence
