Motorcycle Assessments

Helping you return to two wheels – safely and independently.

We now offer motorcycle assessments for riders with medical conditions or disabilities, working in partnership with Edventure Rider Training – a trusted provider recognised by the DVSA.

If you hold a valid motorcycle licence, this service helps you understand your ability to return to or continue riding.

Licence Categories Covered

  • AM (mopeds)
  • A1
  • A2
  • A (full licence)

What’s Involved

If you also hold a car licence:

You’ll begin with a standard car driving assessment.

  1. Must meet eyesight requirements

  2. Good physical ability and balance

  3. No cognitive concerns
  4. No medical conditions barring a Group 2 licence
  5. No major issues during the drive

If you don’t hold a car licence:

We’ll start by checking:

  1. Your eyesight
  2. Your physical and cognitive abilities

Then you’ll complete an on-road motorcycle assessment with Edventure Rider Training, who will provide a detailed riding report.

Making the Decision

We’ll combine all parts of the assessment and decide whether it’s safe for you to continue riding. Our aim is to support you every step of the way – helping you ride again with safety and confidence.
