Theory Test Success for Jack
We’re celebrating a huge achievement at Herts Ability - Jack has passed his driving theory test!
Jack first came to Herts Ability because, although he was progressing well with his practical driving lessons (and even had his own car to practice with!), he found the theory test a significant barrier. Learning independently just wasn’t working for him. That’s when our tailored Theory Test Support Service stepped in.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Department for Transport, Jack was able to access six one-to-one sessions at our Welwyn Garden City centre, working closely with our Lead Assessor, James.
“Jack was always friendly and determined,” James shared.
“He knew he was struggling but couldn’t quite explain why. Through a bit of trial and error, we realised he found the longer, technical questions overwhelming. He’d rush his answers without fully understanding the question.
Together, we developed strategies like breaking the questions down, identifying keywords, and giving himself time to make a considered choice. His progress was incredible - and that effort paid off with a well-earned pass. Well done, Jack!”
