Celebrating World Cerebral Palsy Day 2025 with Herts Ability

September 30, 2025

Herts Ability is proud to support World Cerebral Palsy Day 2025! This global day of awareness is a chance to celebrate the achievements of individuals with cerebral palsy (CP), raise understanding, and advocate for inclusion.

This year, we’re shining a spotlight on one of our own team members. Victoria, our Driving Centre Administrator, has shared her inspiring story.

Victoria’s Story

“Within reason, a disabled woman can achieve anything provided they have the resources, time, and correct information. My biggest achievement, in my twenties, was travelling the world for three months and, in particular, carrying out a skydive in New Zealand! More recently, giving birth and becoming a mum to two lovely children.”

Victoria’s journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of possibility. From adrenaline-fuelled adventures abroad to the joys of motherhood, her experiences show that with the right support, individuals with cerebral palsy can achieve incredible things.

How Herts Ability Supports People with CP

At Herts Ability, we are committed to helping people with cerebral palsy maintain their independence. Our adaptive driving solutions provide safe and tailored ways to get behind the wheel, including:

  • Hand controls
  • Specialised seating
  • Other adaptations for driving safety and comfort

Whether it’s learning to drive, regaining confidence, or making adjustments to a vehicle, our team is here to guide you through every step.

Join Us in Raising Awareness

World Cerebral Palsy Day is not just about recognition - it’s about building an inclusive future where everyone can thrive. Together, we can raise awareness, break down barriers, and celebrate the achievements of those living with CP.

Let’s continue to support independence, understanding, and inclusion for all.
