A Fantastic Night of Fun & Fundraising - Our Herts Ability Quiz Night Was a Huge Success!
On Saturday 22nd November, Digswell Village Hall was buzzing with excitement as supporters, friends, families, and quiz-lovers came together for our Herts Ability Charity Quiz Night - and what an incredible evening it turned out to be!
With tickets selling fast at just £5, the hall quickly filled with enthusiastic teams ready to put their knowledge to the test. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and full of laughter as everyone battled it out for the top spot. From brain-teasing trivia rounds to light-hearted challenges, the competition was close, but the real winner of the night was the amazing community spirit on display.
A Special Visit from the Mayor
We were honoured to welcome Mayor Lynn Chesterman and Consort Alan Chesterman, who joined us for the evening and showed fantastic support for our charity. Their presence added a special touch to an already memorable night, and we are deeply grateful for their continued support for the local community and for Herts Ability.
Raising Funds for a Meaningful Cause
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended - and, of course, the friendly competition - we raised vital funds towards installing an all-weather canopy at our centre. This addition will allow us to carry out passenger assessments safely and comfortably in all conditions, ensuring we can continue helping local people maintain mobility and independence year-round.
A Night to Remember
Guests enjoyed a well-stocked licensed bar, plenty of laughs, great company, and a real sense of purpose. The teamwork, energy, and enthusiasm on display were truly heart-warming. And of course, a big congratulations to our quiz champions who took home the prizes!
Thank You to Everyone Who Made It Possible
Whether you joined us on the night, volunteered your time, donated a prize, or helped spread the word - thank you. Events like this make a huge difference to our charity, and we couldn’t do it without you.
We’re already looking forward to the next one!
